Reno 2013

Had the best time with our kids in Reno Nevada. Nobody came home a big winner except for Jeri. I think she came out ahead. For Jeff's birthday they sent up champaign. We didn't expect a mini bottle. :).
The guys went down for bloody Mary's. so Jeri and I had room service. It was so fun.
Food was good and dessert every night added 10 lbs.

Busy

Yes it's been so busy. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and going over to Yakima has kept us on our toes. Also my son came home from Italy. It's been a houseful. But tons of fun. Kate and her family are here from Sweden so my sis has her houseful too!! Can we say. "Meat draw"? Lol.

White Pass

We go to Selah and Yakima every weekend to take Jim to see Sandy. They moved her to a rehab center. I didn't think she was ready but I saw a little bit of improvement today from last week.

Our trip over the pass was nasty. Last weekend the lights flickered off for a second on the way home. It was darker than I have EVER seen.

These are a progression of pictures as the weather deteriorated. (For some reason they won't go in order as I put them but you can figure it out) I quite taking pictures when I felt the need to 'help' Jeff drive. Lol.

Jeff's Mom had a stroke last week and is in the hospitol.  It has been touch and go.  Last night they took her off the ventilator and she seems to be holding her own.  She recongnizes us, moves her feet, and squeezes hands on her left side. She is the rock in that family.  We will be going over to Selah every weekend to do whatever we can..  Please keep Sandy in your thoughts and prayers..
