New blanket

Here's the quilt I made for Parker Nolan Schaffer. He is one of JJ's friends boy. This quilt gave me a run for my money. The outside binding was supposed to be silky. NOT. It bunched, puckered and down right looked ugly. So I just used the flannel and finished it off. Zigzagged the outside and it is cute.

Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do! This is Jeri at the Halloween party her friend Cori and her hosted . For some reason I only have one picture of her. I thought I took more than that. In fact where's my camera now? Who knows. That's her friend Tyler in the pic. The party was a success. Jeri had a great time.

Once again I have waited to long to post. Today Jeff, Jeri and I went to Sportsman's and Cabelas. So I have taken pictures of our buys. The new light was a MUST for tromping out of the woods at dark. ( I have to say he has been quite a trooper when I want to take a dingy picture of him) Now the boots are for all the mud and creeks we will be venturing through while hunting. Yes I am going too.. . lol. Jeri got her birthday present finally it is a new North Face jacket but she left before I could get a picture of her. This is what we did with JJ's elk cape. And the horns are at their final resting place. The wall of our TV room above the TV. So I think about what ornament I can hang on them ever time I sit down to watch a show. Hmmm... Tinsel or blinking lights..

First Day.....

This is Jeri and Molly on Jer's first day of Junior year.. Yikes! This past week was homecoming week. She and some friends dressed up for most of the days. The spirit days were Color day, Rock star vs. Nerd day, Foil day, Character day, and Logger/Cruiser spirit day.

The Junior class color was green. Cori and Jeri had matching outfits.

Except Jeri had an amazing wig bright green wig with some lovely low lights, compliments of Moi.
This next one is Jeri and her friend Katie dressed up as rock stars Dusty and Billy from ZZ Top. They had a blast!
This is Jeri and her best friend Cori just before leaving for the homecoming game. Eatonville won 27-7!

Burgess kids on roof..

This is what we got for Grandma and Grandpa from the parade. Isn't the balloon placement just funny. And Grandpa sees JJ for the first time in his pic...

It's been to long..

It's just been to long since I have posted. These are some pictures J sent us from the beach in Florida. I can just feel the warm sun on my face and the sand on my toes. Wish we were there..
Jeri just had her wisdom teeth out. She didn't do as good as JJ did. He went to the store that night. Now Jeri looked up at me and said "I won't be going to the store like JJ did." It was funny. Had to be there. It took her a good four days to recover. So that is it for now and I will get the camera and see what's on it.
