Purple.....

These are purple, heart shaped bookmarks I made for the Relay for Life. I had to make 50 of them. I enjoyed them when I thought it was only 35 . Then it jumped to 75 then 100. Thank goodness a lady on our team named Carol Ross volunteered to make half. These will be given to the caretakers of cancer patients who come to do the Survivor lap. I thought they kind of looked like flowers growing over the wall..

Prom

Well here is JJ getting ready for Prom. Didn't he look excited? lol. On Jeri's camera we have a picture of all four of us. I will post that later. That last picture is of his "new" to him truck.. This was the Morton Prom. They ate a Jabino's. He was starting to get a sore throat which has ended up with him getting his tonsils out the Tuesday after graduation. Isn't that quite a present.... Anyway he wasn't to excited since he didn't feel so hot..

Jeri, Katie and the float

Jeri and her friend Katie before the Daffodil parade. It was loads of fun. This year the float received the Queen's award.. The weather wasn't to bad that day either.. We waited to see it on TV but it was cut out by a commercial. lol. This is one of three posts so scroll down and view them all..

Mr. J

Mr. Happy going to his Sr. project.. He looked very handsome despite the grumpy look. He just started getting a very sore throat. He went to the Dr. and got a shot. (LOL) He is feeling much better.. And very glad the project is over..

Spring

Here are Spring flowers in front of our house and Molly in need of a good clipping.... The Magnolia did very well despite the butch haircut it received a few months ago. During spring our yard looks really nice. Then comes summer and a yellow and brown carpet of grass....

Happy Birthday JJ

This cake was really good. Very rich and moist. mmmm.

Happy 18th birthday to JJ. Can't believe he is that old already. It was the day after Nanci left to go home. I think they lived in Calgary then. Correct me if I am wrong Nanci. It was a Tuesday. Kareem Abdul Jabbar's last NBA game was in Seattle that night. I Remember it well. (just kidding) It was his last game though... Mom and Dad were getting ready for a garage sale. They were moving out of the LaGrande house. I never saw that house again. We brought JJ home to about 6 days later. On a very nice sunny day. Look at my baby now. 6 foot tall and graduating. EEEK

A long way to go...

Here are some pictures of the car the boys are going to race this summer. It's a 1969 Ford Fairlane. Isn't that what it looks like to you? They are doing body work and cleaning everything out of it now. Basically they are starting from scratch. Jeri even helps out. She was sweeping the floor before I could get out there with my camera. She is more than ready for the day she gets to drag race. But according to JJ she never will....
