Guitar Hero..

This is totally hilarious. The kids just bought "Guitar Hero lll". This first picture here is what you see on TV. And that Mohawk dude is Jeff's caricature. lol. OMG. Right now they are playing "Black magic woman". It's Jeri and Jeff at the moment. JJ is playing a game online. Killing people I think. lol.. Well the guitar players are working up a sweat. So funny.

The addition

Here are a few pictures of the roof being put on the addition. And an old stamped piece of lumber from Eatonville lumber . We now have a finished roof, windows and sliding glass door. This week we will be getting ... Plumbing.... and wired for electricity. For all who don't know. Our first bid on plumbing for the new bathroom (which was a shower, toilet and sink, to be plumbed into the existing bathroom 15 feet away.. ) Was over $9000. OUCH!. We finally found someone to do it for under $2000. What a rip off ... It is all very exciting.. I will take pictures this week and post. I try not to stay awake at night thinking of it. It's hard.. We

loads of work to do.. We'll get there eventually.

Jeri's first day of school

Here is Jeri on the first day of school. And now it is October. Oh well. I went crazy today with all the posts I got home before 11. Usually on Mondays I have tons to do in town. So instead of cleaning the house I am posting old pictures.. Be sure and scroll down I did three posts today. I am listening to the contractor put up siding on the addition. He is almost through with it. (the siding that is). We asked him to put in Jeri's window since we are unable. We put in the first one and the second one is trouble and we know it.. It's better this way believe me..

I know these are some older pictures, but.... These are finishing our retaining wall on the side of the house.. It gave Maude quite a bit of room and parking for the rest of our rigs.. It took tons of gravel. Thank goodness we know where to get it.. I haven't found our pictures that I took of the remodel. Darn it. But I will keep looking.

Lobster

Here are pictures of lobster night at the Burgess house. Actually 4 lobster legs don't go very far. They are Jeri's favorite.. She was quite good at shelling them. They are her favorite. Now JJ really didn't care either way. He could take them or leave them.. Jeff had to fight Jeri for his share.. Me.... I left them. lol.....

Addition news.

Sorry, couldn't resist the snow picture. (It will be here before we know it though) I will put up new ones soon.

Well... It's fall. Seems like it got here just too quickly. My pictures of the addition are on Jeri's camera so I don't have any show and tell today. So far we have windows, sliding glass door and a beautiful roof.. I am very excited to get it livable. (I can't use the word 'done' because you all know us.lol lol lol.) Anyway today Jeff and I went to Home Depot and checked out a shower, toilet, doors and some bathroom flooring. Tomorrow we'll drive in the pickup and purchase them. So all we have to do is find a plumber. Eegads.. Today is chilly and rainy so getting our roof on is so very cool. Next week we are going to get siding. Then if we get any nice weather we will paint it....... quickly. I
