Out our room's window. It wasn't nasty at that time. Believe me it was much worse.
Nasty, rotten day. The three of them went out to see the beach... I stayed in the car and read my book. But only for about 4 min.. they were running back and looked like this when they got in. Hehehe.
We ate at Joe's crab shack. The kids shared a bucket of seafood. J was too slow and Jeri got the better half of it. It was fun to watch them get all sloppy and drippy. Everything had crab on it. Even my chicken.
A very big seafood fan..
Since we had such glorious weather.... we resorted to cleaning JJ's room. Notice the "racks" calendar on the wall and the Christmas tree still up. It's very organized and clean now. Tree's still up...
These are the shells we found in the sand. The sand is actually very white and has the consistency of brown sugar. A very pretty beach..
This weather on this beach is so beautiful I could have stayed there all day .. But I got fried. My forehead was a beacon for a few days. Maybe it was a good thing the weather was lousy.
This is across the bay/inlet?? from our hotel room. That is where we want to stay next time if the weather permits. I think this is Oskaloosa Island... Jeff said he could just see the tops of the waves on the far rights side when it was really rough.. Yup I want to stay there..
Our room was on the ground floor, right behind J's car.
This dock was in front of our hotel. (well I guess this is the back of the hotel.) We went out there at night and watched all the lights and water. A guy came everyday and fished off of it. Not any beach to speak of tho. We drove around the area most of the time. It is very green and lush. Oh and WET.
