The new baby..
Good morning all. I am trying to figure out this blog stuff. The posts are too long and in my opinion very ugly.. Well I will figure it out... Some day. We have a new family member.. Saga Isobel Nordmark. 8lbs. 20 inches long. And she lives in Sweden. She is so precious. Don't you just love babies? My sister Sue is there for a visit. Perfect timing. I think she got two days after the baby was born.

Eastern Washington
Drove to Eastern Washington Saturday morning to help Shaun and Alena move into the new house. I didn't snap any pictures of the house but I got many of the the professional movers who loaded and unloaded all the furniture and boxes they had in storage and garages....
It seems one mover always was extremely liked by the rest of the boys and had him help them every time an extremely heavy item was needed to be moved upstairs..
The fridge was very important and needed all involved to get it going.

Water works and everything..
The boys were so excited to get new rooms and furniture. Luckily they found all the pieces necessary to put the beds together. (thought the Cannery was in real trouble)The boys were so helpful ..This mover put his whole body into it. What a guy.
And finally an end to Riley's day. He was exhausted when we had dinner.
Now what the men were waiting for was the elk at the Elk station near Natches. It was amazing and must have had over 400 of them there. Sandy and I stayed in the truck it was too cold. http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/r3oakcrk.htm

Snow
Here are pictures of our Christmas snow. It came after Christmas but that was okay. There wasn't enough of it for Jeri and I but it caused a tree to fall down on the motor home. Poor Maude. Jeff removed it, but because our weather has been so bad we haven't been able to look under the cover.. Still. I love the snow.. These are pictures of the second snow. And it has lasted and lasted. Still too cold to melt...

Drag Racing.... and more

Hello. And welcome to the Burgess family Blog. This was last summer at Bremerton Raceways. This is my sons 1970 Ford Torino. He is awesome on the lights and hard on tires...
Bremerton is a small racetrack in Washington state. We have had some of the best times here. We camp in our motor home. Set up pop up tents ... (for the car no less) ... lawn chairs and put out our coolers. To our family it is relaxing. So if you like the sound of revving engines, screeching tires and the smell of burnt rubber then this is the place for you..
